The store opens at 6:30a but the app won't let you order until 6:40a. This is a problem because I'm driving home from the gym at that time. It forces me to order at the store, making me wait longer. The cinnamon rolls are crap for $5 and any bakery item you get in the morning tastes like it's been on the counter overnight.

Regarding your first paragraph — that sounds like an awful location. I've gone to at least 6 (probably more) different Paneras and they've all been very good. OK once they either forgot my pickup order or someone else took it. That was one time in the many many years I've been going.
I'd say find a new location to frequent.
I emphasized that the Pumpkin Muffin was one of their few bakery items that I could not find at any other competitor. But their choice of Blueberry which is probably the most common type of muffin to be found anywhere???
And all this after I finally cancelled my coffee club because I got tired of going to get my morning coffee and the coffee urn being completely dry. Then I would have to attempt to get an employee's attention to have it refilled. Also my online app orders always told me "Completed" and ready for pickup only for me to go to the pickup location and not finding anything there. I would have to attempt to get an employee's attention and point to the bag sitting right there in front of them and ask them to kindly hand it to me. They would always look at me as if I were a lunatic.
I think Panera has been going downhill for quite sometime.
I can't even decide what I want to order bc I love the buff chicken sandwich and cheddar broccoli soup but it's hard to go to Panera without Mac and cheese. You def get more food if you get the sandwich tho and it's not even close

Had no idea the Pumpkin muffin was removed from the menu. That was one of my favorite pastries. Sometimes it was a little bit mushy in the middle making me think it was slightly under baked. Not as bad as Starbucks which removed the Red Velvet loaf which was the only pastry that was unique and that I enjoyed despite it not being fresh and pre-packaged. I still rather buy pastries from Panera and at least they sometimes give me a flash discount. I remember when Panera had cupcakes. I loved those so much and the old recipe for the fudge brownies. I will never get over the fact they removed chocolate chip muffins and replaced it will a muffin top called a "muffie". How on earth is that still on the menu still but the Pumpkin muffin isn't???

Highly agreed. Also cannot order on the app within 30 minutes of the location closing the dining room. One of the Panera's I go to has a drive thru open until 9:30PM but the dining room (or cafe...whatever you consider it) closes at 8:30PM. Can't place any online orders after 8:00PM. If I can't order online, then I don't even bother eating Panera due to the customization options their own cashier's may not even know about. Also can't redeem "APP ONLY" offers. Why push customers to use the app so much and then only allow certain time frames customers can make ASAP orders? I've waited over 20 minutes for bagel not even to be toasted or sliced before. Couldn't believe it and they ask for tip on top of that.
They also increased their prices for basic items. I used to order Grilled Cheese and Deli Sandwich from the kids menu for only $5.99. It was one of the cheapest options on the whole entire menu. Now everything is over $7. Why on earth is Grilled Cheese with no toppings $7?? I'm aggravated they decided to increase prices included the so called "value duet" which now cost $8.99 when it originally coated $6.99
