Don't you guys find products at Ace Hardware extremely overpriced? I hardly ever shop there unless I'm in a pinch and need some plumbing components right away .

Ace for me is good because it's only 1 mile away versus 5 miles for HD/Lowes. Smaller so quick in and out. Though it seems if you really need help/advice, Ace old timer employees are pretty good at giving you detailed help and advice with a huge smile. Sometimes the folks at HD/Lowes are hard to find or pretty busy to give real detailed help (at least for me at my stores). Also if you need 1 bolt/washer at Ace versus a package of 10 for example.

Huh, keep getting a login loop and then a "We aren't able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please go back to merchant and try using a different payment method." message.

From ios mobile, will have to try on. a desktop later. Can't find the deal in the paypal app either.

same. couldn't get it to work on the desktop either. did you have any luck? Even tried changing my default payment method to a checking account in case it wasn't liking the credit card. Still no luck.

Sometimes they have things that the big box stores don't have. My local one had 2.5 inch galvanized pipe for older houses. I really made out since they are a dealer for Echo and I needed a premium weed eater and used gift cards to buy it. Saved some change. They were so nice since their software died with the first of 4 cards. It took 20 minutes to do my transaction of a weedeater and a chainsaw. I saved a bunch of money spending a bunch of money. I got mine at the yearly dollar general 15% off.

I know the website says that, but I have been able to use more than 3 and more than $250. I just redeemed 8 GCs/$271 for an order.

Depends on the item. Some are similar priced and the gift card savings makes it cheaper. Ace will also deliver from the store for free with $50+ purchase and a free ACE account.
