RZ50 does not have the throttling issue. Can speak to that from personal experience, and confirmed by the charts at AudioScienceReview. 7100 overlaps the 505 and might, but I haven't dug into that.

Keep in mind It’s said that the Onkyo models(7100 & RZ50) fall under the same scrutiny.

No not even the RZ50 doesn’t.
Closest(with current models) is the Denon 3800, you do get many more features on top of that though.
In fact other than Dirac Live you get pretty much what the new...

i just got the onkyo receiver deal for a similar price. its the audio i was looking for. I had a yamaha TSR5830, but no matter how much i played with the eq i didnt think it sounded much better...
