Agree with you on the sizing, but I've found that with the larger screen I can sit much farther back, so the resolution isn't an issue at all, and there is significantly improved eyestrain.

Too big for side by side imo. With the 32, I think you'd prefer to sit centered with one of them. My set up is this monitor centered with my seat, and 27" vertical on the side. Works fine for me.
